Yoga has been a trending topic in fitness for years, and it’s easy to see why. Yoga as exercise combines elements of strength training with flexibility, and a distinct focus on spirituality as well. Unlike other forms of exercise, the practice of yoga focuses on more than just external results but internal results as well. 

The emphasis on awareness and being connected to your body allows yoga to be more than just a way to break a sweat, it becomes a form of meditation and allows us to reflect on the world around us and the worlds within us. Through various low points in life, yoga has been a constant source of relief and healing for many people. 

Although we all feel the pressure of social media and have gotten caught up in various fitness fads, yoga is one that won’t be going out of style anytime soon.
